Poker Players Go All In For WPT Boot Camp At MGM Grand
By Shaena Engle
The training features an integrated poker curriculum that includes live lectures, archived WPT video footage, game play, and personal secrets, tips, and tools from poker superstars. Lessons are backed up with TV clips of tournament play. A wide array of subjects are covered such as bluffing, spotting tells, advanced betting strategies, and most importantly, knowing when to hold’em and when to fold’em.
The highlight of the camp is the big showdown between instructors and students on the casino floor: The winner of the private multi-table tournament is awarded a satellite seat at a WPT Main Event. In addition to learning the ins and outs of championship poker, students receive a WPT Boot Camp survival duffel bag containing specially created poker software, a hat, game related magazine subscriptions and books, cards, and poker T-shirts.
“The best way to improve your poker game quickly is to learn from the pros,” said Rubens. “By using some of the top professionals in the game, the background and tools from the WPT, and great casinos to play poker in, we provide an opportunity for beginners and advanced players to receive the best personalized instruction possible.”
Sounds like a sure bet.
