The Residences at MGM Grand |
Story by Kathy Espin
THE RESIDENCES AT MGM GRAND
According to real estate gurus, the Manhattanization of Las Vegas — characterized by the luxury, high-rise condominiums and condominium-hotels — is in full swing. One of the most successful condominium-hotel projects is The Residences at MGM Grand®, a joint development between MGM Grand and South Florida-based Turnberry Associates. The Residences offers the amenities of a five-star resort with the comfort and convenience of a luxury home.
The development consists of three, 40-story, 576-unit towers on the northeast end of the MGM Grand property, with residences ranging in price from $550,000 to more than $2 million. The first two towers are already sold out and sales are underway for Tower C. “Sales and construction are on the fast track and the excitement about this one-of-a-kind community continues to build,” said Dan Riordan, Director of Sales. “Our prospective buyers range from locals to international visitors who want to take advantage of our ideal location, luxury amenities and low-maintenance lifestyle.”
The fully furnished condos will offer a variety of floor plans from 500 to 1,500 square feet. The studio model features a large bedroom/seating area, kitchenette and elegant master bath. The one-bedroom suite includes a full kitchen and dining area, living room, bedroom, two baths, and a private balcony. Also available is a combination suite with two bedrooms and three baths. “Many of our buyers are selecting the two-bedroom combination suites, which are ideal for family vacations or inviting friends for a weekend getaway,” Riordan said.
Each tower will feature 24-hour front desk and concierge services, in-suite dining service, a guarded security entrance, state-of-the-art fitness centers and exclusive swimming pool complexes. Residents can take advantage of MGM Grand’s amenities including, top notch entertainment and nightlife, some of the city’s best restaurants, the Grand Spa, a lush pool complex with private cabanas and much more.
Look for Las Vegas’ luxury real estate market to continue to boom as the city grows and expands. “Las Vegas used to be known for the gaming only and most people only knew the Las Vegas Strip, but now more and more people know that Las Vegas offers luxury communities,” said Prudential Americana’s Paula Jones. “We are the hottest real estate market in the world and we’re here to stay.”
