According to Richard MacDonald, president of MacDonald Highlands, semi-custom homes are practically sold out. “No matter how large the home or how large the inventory, the demand seems to continue to expand to match. We are seeing huge demand for luxury housing like we’ve never seen in Las Vegas before. People are buying multiple lots and putting them together to create monstrous mansions from 25 – 35,000 square feet,” MacDonald said.

The demand for super-large and super-expensive homes is so great that MacDonald has put together a special offer not yet released to the public. “We’re creating nine lots that are going to be terraced up the ridge. These compound lots will form one-acre to three-acre parcels with spectacular views of the entire valley and will accommodate houses over 50,000 square-feet,” he said.
