Criss knows Luxor is the ideal setting for “MINDFREAK.” “The pyramid is one of the most mystifying structures in the world and it fits perfectly with the mentality of our show,” says Angel. “Luxor will be one of the main characters. Beaming from the top of the pyramid is the brightest light in the world. It is one of two things on earth, along with the Great Wall of China, that can be seen from outer space. I hear that and my mind starts racing.” Recently Criss levitated above the light beam, with over 800 watts of candlepower, for over 10 minutes, a dangerous illusion about four months in the making.

If you miss your chance to see Criss Angel in person, there are plenty of opportunities to gain “MINDFREAK” exposure: The Production Offices, located in the Luxor Galleria, give fans a behind-the-scenes peek into how the show is created. The crew can also be seen in the midst of the creative process that goes into each episode. And each day, the shooting schedule is posted so that fans will know where and when to catch Criss performing his demonstrations.

“I came to Las Vegas 10 years ago with a dream and very little in my pocket. I remember seeing the huge marquees of the legendary Siegfried & Roy and master magician Lance Burton and dreamt about what that would be like one day. All I had was that dream to keep me going. Now I have this beautiful new home at Luxor. I hope no one wakes me up anytime soon.”

The Official Criss Angel Store @ Luxor, located in the Luxor Galleria, has Criss Angel merchandise, clothing, posters, jewelry, and DVDs of the first two seasons of “MINDFREAK” as well as Criss’ instructional DVDs on magic.
