Following your host, snake your way through the
undulating crowds, past packs of guys gathered at
the bar wearing untucked dress shirts and come hither smiles, to a
booth on the perimeter of the dance floor with a "reserved" card and
silk-cushioned banquettes that have been awaiting you.
"We wait until the night is at its peak before we let the bachelorettes in,"
says Jake Saady, marketing director of The Light Group. "A lot of them
don't know what they're getting themselves into!" By that he means
that many a bachelorette has found herself in the whirl of a concert
after-party given by the likes of Bono or Mick Jagger.
While the celebrity packed VIP lounge might be roped off to the masses,
a flock of lovely bachelorettes will be given entree to this prime seating location.
"They are our guests for the night and are taken to the best tables," says Saady.
"You never know who you're going to meet or what's going to happen."
Dancin' the night a way!
As multi-color spotlights follow you on the dance floor, Saady recommends
eyeing the sideline booths where celebrities like Leo DiCaprio and Tiger Woods
are most likely to hang. And keep a lookout for Paris. Hilton, that is. Don't be shy;
the ubiquitous celebutante has posed for photos with groups of bachelorettes on
more than one occasion.
Day Two
In the hotel's new $375 million
Spa Tower you've got 65,000 square feet of
spa and salon in which to delight your senses,
prepare for the Big Day and sweat out the
toxins from the night before. Start at the Salon
where you can enjoy a hot stone manicure/
pedicure while sipping on champagne and
indulging in caviar. We also recommend a
micro-dermabrasion foot treatment for succulent
toes or a manicure with crushed pearl powder for
glowing nails. You may even want to go back later,
after your spa treatments, for the airbrush makeup.
Move over Heidi Klum.
Relaxation.
Spa Bellagio's architectural elements are based
on the Zen philosophies: waterfalls and reflecting
pools (water); travertine and bleached walnut (earth); candles and dramatic lighting
(fire); and undulating fans (wind). The spa's international menu features treatments
from Egypt, Bali, Thailand, India, and more. Ashiatsu Massage-Shiatsu performed
with the feet- is a must for releasing muscles clenched from
fretting over place cards and centerpieces. Cooling gem stone
therapy lets you choose between the healing properties of
citrine or amethyst to tighten those day-after, under-eye bags.
And don't forget the Indian Head Massage to infuse a deep
sense of peace, calm and tranquility in your (aching) head. |
