Girls’ Night Out

Clubbing with the gals can be as wild or tame as they want it to be

Story By Emily Gannon

The recipe for a successful nightclub extravaganza in Las Vegas depends on a few key ingredients: dancing, cocktails and let-your-hair-down fun. When it’s a girls’ night out, as it was recently for four natural beauties, such a night involves planning.

Taking into account the week’s stresses, the first stop should be a place where you can ease into the night. Once you’re warmed up, the pace can quicken as the night wears on. There is no better place than MGM Grand’s Teatro, the metallic lounge where the cocktail waitresses are as beautiful as the go-go dancers, to get your night started.

Teatro, with images of the human body projected on the wall behind the bar and the color-shifting bottles lining the perimeter, feels like a futuristic hot spot: sleek and intimate. The distinct European feel is accentuated by the sultry reds and glowing blues of the club. It is the perfect place to fall into swanky, red leather VIP booths for a deep conversation or, if you’re feeling wild, to get acquainted with the clubs fabulous DJs.

“It’s absolutely amazing!” says Meda, who’s looking around at the singles and couples chatting, drinking and admiring the gorgeous dancers on the catwalk. “I like the atmosphere, the people are good looking and the music is great. It’s the place to be.” On top of the champagne bar a sexy dancer dressed in black and fringe struts her go-go boots to the music; her rhythm is intoxicating and soon the ladies climb onto the bar and join in her performance. It’s a great place to start the night.
