  Tom Jones
  Story By Jack Sheehan

Tom Jones' amazing 40-year singing and liveperforming career continues to captivate Las Vegas audiences. It is remarkable considering that for the better part of those years Tom was moving his body parts in unnaturally frenetic ways. You'd think even if his pipes were still working perfectly-and they are-at the least he'd be sporting two artificial hips and a plastic pelvis by now. Make no mistake: although Tom Jones' hips may not move quite as abruptly as they once did, they still rotate in a way that causes panties and room keys to mysteriously land onstage during his show. And his full-throated baritone, mesmerizing eyes and enticing smile still ooze sexuality. "I love what I do so much that I've always wanted to continue to do it as long as I possibly could," said Tom in a recent interview. What keeps him going is his dedication to staying in great shape and versatility as an artist. "I love doing the songs I did in the '60s, but enjoy the challenge of trying new things." Old or new, Tom Jones owns a place in every woman's heart that has ever seen him perform.
